Flair IV and Lucky Jim Macgregor are delighted to announce the return of the Civils Group to support the boat and crew in their challenge on the Rolex Commodores Cup in 2006.

Having previously supported the chartered Elan 37 campaigned by the Flair crew in 2004 director Paul Medhurst was keen to pull back on his wet weather gear and get some key clients and friends along with the Flair IV regulars to mount a challenge for the trophy regarded as the pinnacle of amateur international team racing.

The crew of Flair IV will be working hard to ensure that the boat qualifies within the small boat band of the current criteria, this will involve a drop in rating of 0.01% to achieve the 1.039. They will also be working extra hard to wrap up the hard fought Warsash Spring Series before turning their attention to qualification for the RCC.

Flair IV is also delighted announce the new support of Tacktick instrumentation and thanks them for their assistance with a cutting edge wireless solution to help us find our way around the courses!

We are also proud to continue our ongoing relationship with Gul, who have supported us through the last two years and seen Lucy Macgregor develop into a fledgling Olympian!
