The Elan National Championships, to be held at the Royal Solent YC on 28th/29th of June, will see Flair IV competing with a youth crew from Poole.

Twelve young sailors with a range of dinghy and big boat experience have been selected from past and present Commodores Youth Challenge crews, the Annual U18 match racing event between Poole and Parkstone Yacht Clubs, sailed in Elan 333s.

Sailing in the Elan Nationals will provide an exciting and challenging weekend for the youth crew -- despite not having sailing together recently as a team, and the fact that many of the crew have not sailed on the 40 footer before at all, hopes are high that the talents within the group will produce a respectable set of results, and give the regular teams a run for their money...
